About the role
Google Photos software engineering role focused on backend, server-side components, and machine intelligence with opportunities to work across client and backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross functionally to design and build industry-leading video editing features.
- Work with other engineers on a global team to continuously improve our software components and architecture.
- Identify, triage, debug, track and resolve issues in existing code.
- Work with other engineers to define, and continuously improve our software architecture, making it scalable, reliable and easy to reason about.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with back-end development and experience in the client platform (e.g., Android or iOS).
