About the role

Google Cloud role focused on leading partnerships with venture capital firms within a designated portfolio, developing ecosystem strategy, and driving value creation for portfolio companies through Google Cloud services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Google Cloud’s partnerships efforts within your designated portfolio of leading venture capital (VC) firms.
  • Work closely with Google Cloud regional sales leadership and other internal stakeholders to develop ecosystem strategy for the region, and venture capital partner-specific strategies.
  • Build and expand long-term relationships with the key partners at assigned venture capitals, translating to their portfolio companies' use of Google Cloud.
  • Reach out and develop relationships with venture capital portfolio companies in coordination with local sales teams and help sales teams prioritize portfolio companies to target.
  • Drive value creation for the portfolio companies through the adoption and usage of Google Cloud services, liaising with various functions internally to address the needs of portfolio companies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in VC/PE firms, investment banking, consulting, partnerships or business development roles with C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Experience in managing products and technologies within Cloud or SaaS sectors.
  • Experience with the local startup ecosystem.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently, to support client relationship management in this region.
