About the role

Senior Software Engineer to join the Workflows team building a scalable backend platform for workflow automation, integrating AI where it adds value, and delivering durable, event-driven systems for enterprise automations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable backend services that power workflow execution and orchestration.
  • Develop reusable workflow components and APIs used across the platform.
  • Build reliable, event-driven systems that coordinate long-running business processes.
  • Partner with Product and Design to deliver intuitive workflow experiences.
  • Help define engineering best practices around scalability, reliability, and observability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong backend development skills in Go, Python, Java, or a similar language.
  • Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous processing and event-driven architectures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
