About the role

Software Development Engineer II for Amazon Connect within the AWS Solutions organization. Join a fast-growing, cloud-based contact center service built on AWS technologies. Own end-to-end design, development, and delivery of scalable, resilient systems with a strong customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Own code end-to-end from design to development, working closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS
  • Develop next-generation contact center technology leveraging modern web, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI/ML, Big Data and related AWS services
  • Solve highly complex engineering and algorithmic problems to deliver scale and reliability for Amazon Connect
  • Collaborate with a fun, inclusive team and maintain work-life balance while delivering meaningful customer impact

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
