About the role

Founding web full-stack software engineer position at Credal, focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performance AI-enabled data platforms with ownership across frontend, backend, and product strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own aspects of stability, scalability and security as onboarding expands the customer base
  • Ensure reliable syncing of billions of records from customers’ SaaS tools into the data platform
  • Contribute to architecture, design decisions, and code/product quality strategy
  • Engage directly with customers and the GTM team to solve complex customer problems
  • Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering excellence
  • Take end-to-end ownership of core products across frontend, backend, AI/ML, and cloud stack

Qualifications

  • 4+ years building high-quality software, ideally in strong engineering cultures
  • Strong engineering fundamentals with ability to reason about architecture, performance, reliability, and complexity
  • Comfortable across TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB; Vue experience helpful but not required
  • Experience helping engineering teams scale by creating abstractions, systems, tools, and processes
  • Interest in Agentic AI / LLM applications; experience with MCP or AI agents is a plus but not required
  • High ownership mindset and ability to drive projects from ambiguous start to finish
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with bias toward action
  • Customer-focused with passion for building technology that empowers users
  • Enjoy mentoring others and accelerating growth of teammates
