About the role

Social Media & Content Lead for Pure, a marketplace for rare coins and precious metals. Own Pure's organic presence across major social platforms, define strategy, and drive measurable signups and orders through content and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Own the channel strategy and content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, Reddit, and Discord
  • Set the creative direction for how Pure looks and sounds on social, and maintain that standard across all publications
  • Run a steady testing program across hooks, formats, and series; optimize based on performance and show the numbers behind each call
  • Build the measurement that connects views to signups and first orders, using PostHog and collaboration with growth lead
  • Produce content directly when needed (script, shoot, edit in CapCut, Premiere, Figma, etc.)
  • Engage with coin and stacking communities on Reddit and Discord as a disclosed Pure team member
  • Spot moments (e.g., US Mint releases) and publish content same day
  • Work inside compliance rails and ensure accuracy of all posted information
  • Assist on creator partnerships: scout creators, provide content briefings, and ensure FTC disclosures on sponsorships

Qualifications

  • 3+ years running social for a brand with demonstrable growth (before/after metrics)
  • Experience owning strategy beyond posting: platform mix, formats, testing cadence, and decision-making
  • Strong data-driven mindset with ability to adjust strategy based on dashboards
  • Ability to ship quickly, even with imperfect polish; speed over perfection
  • Attention to factual accuracy and high standards for numbers and claims
  • Proficiency in editing/design to deliver fast content, or ability to hand off to a creator when appropriate
  • Comfortable in a small, in-person team with a blank playbook and willingness to write it
