About the role
Role focused on turning inbound leads into paying customers for Strive Math, with responsibilities spanning sales, account management, content creation, and brand support. Requires strong math background and bilingual English/Mandarin communication, with Singapore-focused hours.
Responsibilities
- Turn inbound leads into paying customers by understanding each child's level and goals and recommending the right math or coding course
- Call parents (in English or Mandarin) and excite them about Strive
- Message and follow up with customers via WhatsApp and email
- Manage sales pipeline on Airtable and Notion
- Suggest product ideas to improve the funnel
- Maintain and grow existing accounts: build relationships, run referral programmes, collect feedback, create content for parents
- Account management: payment dates, renewals, refunds
- Help manage day-to-day schedules of teachers and students and customer accounts
- Teach at least one math class per week to speak to parents as both teacher and advisor
- Create content for parents in English and Chinese (Mandarin-speaking communities)
- Support marketing and growth campaigns and events (social media, copywriting, simple design, project management)
Qualifications
- Excellent English and conversational Mandarin, able to read/write simple Chinese
- Strong math background and ability to explain math concepts to parents and students
- Former teachers and career-switchers welcome
- Available to work Singapore hours (GMT+8), mainly weekday evenings and weekends
- Excellent listener
- Organized with high attention to detail and strong written/spoken communication
- Ability to be concise and persuasive in writing and speaking
- Positive, learning mindset, adaptable in a startup
