About the role

Proactive, resourceful, AI-forward Tech & Marketing Operations Specialist to manage technology projects, keep learning platforms running, and power the marketing engine for student acquisition. Based in Madrid with hybrid work.

Responsibilities

  • Platform & Systems Management
  • Tech project management: Manage technology-related projects end to end — defining requirements, building timelines, tracking progress, and identifying improvements that serve broader project goals.
  • LMS management (WordPress & LearnDash): Own the day-to-day health of our WordPress-based LMS and LearnDash plugin — user administration, course administration, email flows, bulk imports, new features, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • CRM & Marketing Automation (Salesforce & Salesforce Marketing Cloud): Act as first point of contact for Salesforce and SFMC — build and test journeys, landing pages, and lead magnets; investigate and resolve issues; escalate and follow up when needed.
  • System integration: Architect data flows between LMS, CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Power BI with low-code integrations.
  • Data integrity & reporting: Review data integrity across LearnDash, Salesforce, and Power BI; execute queries and build reports/extracts for non-technical stakeholders; handle large-scale data reviews.
  • Website support: Provide general technical support for the website and coordinate with resources to resolve issues.
  • Compliance & security: Help bring the LMS environment up to IT and security standards, liaising between Education, developers/cloud providers, and Security/Legal/IT.
  • Campaign execution: Build, test, and launch email and lifecycle campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud — segmentation, audience building, A/B tests, scheduling, deliverability.
  • Landing pages & lead capture: Build landing pages and forms; ensure correct lead routing into Salesforce, field mapping, deduplication, and follow-up automation.
  • Tracking & attribution: Own GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion pixels, UTM taxonomy and enforcement for end-to-end measurability.
  • Lifecycle & retention automation: Design automated flows across the student lifecycle — onboarding, course progress nudges, re-engagement, certification, upsell.
  • Martech stack & compliance: Own marketing tech stack and integrations; ensure consent management, cookie compliance, and data handling aligned with privacy and policy.
  • AI for marketing: Apply AI-assisted copy and creative variants, localization at scale, automated performance summaries, and audience insight tooling.
  • Technical Bridge & Coordination
  • Stakeholder liaison: Primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and business operations; translate business needs into technical specs.
  • Specification writing & QA: Write technical specs, replicate scenarios, and fully test in QA and production before rollout.
  • Documentation: Maintain operations manual and technical docs.
  • Cross-functional project leadership: Lead multi-month initiatives from scoping to launch with KPIs, coordinating between design/development/vendors, and testing at every step.
  • AI Development & Innovation
  • AI builder mindset: Explore, prototype, and build AI-powered solutions to improve work processes and student learning.
  • Tool development: Design and build AI tools and workflows to solve operational bottlenecks (e.g., scripts, low-code automations).
  • Exploration & evaluation: Stay current on emerging AI tools relevant to EdTech operations and propose value-added uses.
  • AI project ownership: Own AI-driven initiatives from investigation to production rollout.
  • Responsible use: Ensure AI tools comply with confidentiality and data-security standards.

Qualifications

  • Solid, broad understanding of technology and digital platforms with hands-on capability.

  • Project management skills with a track record of end-to-end delivery.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive problem-solver with ability to identify needs and mobilize people/tools to solve them.
  • Understanding of marketing funnels and growth metrics (CPL, CAC, conversion rate, LTV) and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and campaign tooling (Salesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking is a plus.
  • Comfort owning both plumbing and outcome for campaigns.
  • Experience with WordPress and/or LearnDash is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce/SFMC) and data/BI tools (Power BI) is valued.
