About the role

Software Developer role within the 2027 Leadership Development Program (LDP) at ION, based in Woking, on-site, full-time. Analysts complete 3x12-month rotations across the product lifecycle in a global FinTech firm, with eventual specialization after rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing business requirements and product solutioning.
  • Architecture and designs using the latest principles and patterns in software engineering.
  • Coding, testing, and continuous integration of solutions using the latest and upcoming technologies.

Qualifications

  • 2027 graduation.
  • 2:1 or above.
  • Bachelor’s, or Master’s, in Computer Science or related STEM disciplines (e.g., Data Science, Quantitative Finance) with hands-on programming experience.
  • Authorization to work in selected countries without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated interest in finance and/or technology, ideally with work experience.
  • Passion for learning, self-improvement, and a proactive, enthusiastic mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to understand the underlying causes of problems.
