About the role

Lead Meesho’s content strategy and end-to-end copy production, with a focus on Tier 2–4 markets, leveraging GenAI and culturally resonant storytelling to drive scalable, high-performing creatives across performance, sales, channels, and in-app experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Setting the Vision: lead content strategy across performance, sale, PNs, WhatsApp, TV ads and in-app experiences, with focus on Tier 2–4 markets
  • End-to-End copywriting: oversee ideation, testing and scaling of copy production
  • AI at the Core: use GenAI tools to accelerate content creation, refinement, and scaling production
  • Cultural Storytelling: develop insight-led narratives speaking to Bharat’s next billion users
  • Operational Excellence: create and own execution playbooks and quality standards for copy
  • Creative Experimentation: drive constant testing, optimize storytelling, asset structures, formats, and regional targeting
  • Team Leadership & Growth: recruit, mentor, and lead a team of writers
  • Cross-Functional Impact: collaborate with marketing, product, and growth; co-own KPIs
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: monitor content trends and regional content culture

Qualifications

  • Experience leading copy/content teams in a consumer-focused, high-growth environment
  • Strong storytelling and cultural resonance capabilities for diverse Indian markets
  • Proficiency with GenAI tools for content creation and scaling
  • Ability to own end-to-end copy production processes and quality standards
  • Excellent collaboration with marketing, product, and growth teams
