About the role

In-House Counsel to support Recorded Future’s business across the Americas (North America, LATAM, Public Sector) with hybrid work in Boston, MA (2–3 days/week in office). Focus areas include customer agreements, quotes, contract negotiations, vendor/procurement matters, and collaboration with legal specialists. Opportunity to develop interests in AI and privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve sales quotes, ensuring accurate terms and alignment with company guidelines.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements, including order forms, MSAs, amendments, DPAs, and security and AI addenda.
  • Partner with Sales, RevOps, and Finance to resolve commercial requests and improve contracting responsiveness.
  • Apply established playbooks and approval thresholds, proposing practical solutions and escalating exceptions.
  • Support vendor and procurement contracting in Ironclad, plus occasional marketing agreements.
  • Build independence in customer negotiations and contribute ideas to improve legal workflows.

Qualifications

  • A law degree from an accredited university and admission to a U.S. bar in good standing.
  • 1+ years of law firm or in-house experience, with prior exposure to SaaS contracts and familiarity with DPAs.
  • Transactional training and practical drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Foundational understanding of privacy, information security, and AI contract issues, plus willingness to learn our products and use AI tools.
  • Sound judgment, clear communication, and a practical approach to supporting the business.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume, repeatable work alongside more complex matters.
  • Fluent English and availability to work from our Boston office 2–3 days per week.
