About the role

Six-month remote 1099 contract on the Delivery Management team to deliver data-driven solutions for large insurance clients by gathering, translating, and documenting business requirements into technical specifications for Bestow’s platform.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements. You’ll document and deliver business requirements to Bestow for complex configuration data sets.
  • Work directly with carriers. Engage stakeholders at insurance carriers to document key scope decisions for assigned project(s).
  • Translate requirements. You’ll turn business requirements into technical specifications that Bestow’s engineering team can build against for assigned project(s).

Qualifications

  • 2+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in insurance, financial services, or SaaS.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Able to interpret and organize complex product configuration data sets.
  • Familiarity with policy administration systems or underwriting workflows is a plus.
  • Clear communicator. Comfortable working directly with clients and internal teams, in writing and verbally.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets, JIRA, Confluence, and a data visualization tool such as Tableau or Grist.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
