About the role

Senior brand and visual design role responsible for setting the creative direction, building the design system, and owning the corporate web presence across sandboxaq.com and related properties. Combines brand, graphic, and web design with hands-on execution and strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the SandboxAQ brand. Set the creative vision and build the design system — visual identity, components, guidelines, and the brand architecture for our sub-brands.
  • Own the corporate web presence end to end. Design, build, and maintain sandboxaq.com and related properties (currently Webflow). You are the point of contact for corporate web, working directly in the CMS.
  • Produce high-craft work yourself. Conference and event graphics, brochures, one-pagers, infographics, executive and go-to-market materials.
  • Build scalable design processes and resources. Deck templates, brand kits, asset libraries, and repeatable processes.
  • Partner across the company, and direct outside help when needed. Brief external partners and manage overflow or specialist work.

Qualifications

  • ~8+ years crafting brand systems, graphic design, and web design.
  • Hands-on fluency with a modern CMS or visual web platform (Webflow, HTML/CSS) with end-to-end build capability.
  • Proven experience building design systems or component libraries.
  • Experience designing across visually distinct domains or audiences while handling dense scientific/AI topics.
  • Ability to work independently, build from scratch, and advocate for ideas using AI tools.
