About the role

Senior IT Administrator to join Illumio’s IT Service Operations team, focusing on Windows/macOS endpoint management, Microsoft administration, identity and access management, IT automation, and enterprise applications. Provides advanced technical support to executives and serves as escalation point for complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert for Windows and macOS endpoint environments.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro, including policies, configuration profiles, applications, security settings, and compliance controls.
  • Manage Windows and macOS provisioning and zero-touch deployment (Windows Autopilot, Apple Automated Device Enrollment).
  • Manage endpoint patching and software update processes, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and remediation.
  • Configure and support Intune Company Portal and mobile device enrollment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot endpoint enrollment, policy, application, compliance, and deployment issues.
  • Develop and maintain standardized endpoint configurations and security controls in partnership with Information Security.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource for Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft cloud technologies.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Purview, Defender, etc.).
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Defender for Office 365 policies and threat protection capabilities.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
  • Monitor DLP and email security activity, troubleshoot policy behavior, and tune policies.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Defender and related endpoint security with Information Security.
  • Manage and maintain compliance with all licensed Microsoft products.
  • Stay current with Microsoft cloud capabilities and identify opportunities to improve security and efficiency.
  • Design and implement automations and integrations between IT systems using Workato, Okta Workflows, PowerShell, APIs, etc.
  • Develop and maintain Workato integrations between ServiceNow, Okta, Microsoft 365, HR systems, and endpoint management solutions.
  • Configure and maintain ServiceNow solutions (catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer, forms, business rules).
  • Automate IT processes and system interactions to improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, document, and maintain existing automations, integrations, and ServiceNow configurations with reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Provide advanced technical support for Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and other critical technologies.
  • Provide high-touch, white-glove technical support to executives and executive assistants.
  • Build, configure, deploy, and support Zoom Rooms and conference room technologies.
  • Provide advanced audio/video support for company events and large-scale meetings.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, controllers, and AV systems.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex employee technology issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in IT administration, systems administration, endpoint management, or related field.
  • Extensive hands-on experience administering Windows and macOS enterprise environments.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro (policy management, deployment, patch management, compliance, zero-touch deployment).
  • Strong experience with Windows Autopilot and Apple Automated Device Enrollment.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender (including Defender for Office 365).
  • Experience with Okta and Okta Workflows, and similar lifecycle automation.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience for Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online administration.
  • Experience designing and implementing IT system integrations and automations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide high touch support to C-Level executives.
