About the role

Detail-oriented UAT Analyst responsible for evaluating complex systems, developing and executing test plans, and ensuring quality across Sardine’s API-driven platform (dashboard, APIs, and mobile SDKs). Collaborates with customers, product, and engineering teams to test, troubleshoot, and support product development in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for Sardine’s product, including our dashboard, APIs, and mobile SDKs.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure they are resolved before release.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Sardine to effectively predict, test, and prevent product issues.
  • Stay updated on product enhancements, new features, and industry best practices.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects or system failures to identify underlying issues affecting application performance or stability.
  • Maintain documentation of test cases, test scripts, test results, and quality assurance reports in accordance with QA standards.
  • Provide technical support during release management cycles; assist in troubleshooting deployment issues within cloud environments like GCP or AWS.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a user acceptance or functional testing role at banks/fintechs
  • Experience supporting B2B SaaS products and/or working with banking infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency with SQL (joins, queries across multiple tables)
  • Understanding of REST API and use of tools like Postman
  • Ability to write Eval for AI Products
  • Ability to write structured test plans, along with step-by-step manual test scripts
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including functional testing, performance testing, automation testing, API testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Strong communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bonus: Prior experience performing testing in systems used by banks or governments
