About the role

Senior FP&A leader responsible for near- and long-term strategic planning, modeling, and financial storytelling to support a high-growth SaaS company.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategic financial planning both near and long term. Identify the drivers of growth, efficiency, and cash, and turn them into recommendations the Executive Team can act upon.
  • Serve as a key voice to the Executive Team. Shape the company's financial narrative across reporting, investor relations, and fundraising, and act as a close partner to the CFO.
  • Partner with GTM, Product, and functional leaders to turn data into insights non-finance leaders understand and act on, and to challenge them with evidence when needed.
  • Lead scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and investment cases for major decisions. Apply the right depth to each: go deep when precision changes the answer and move fast when it doesn't.
  • Build and scale the FP&A team and operating model, including talent development, succession readiness, governance, and controls.
  • Redesign forecasting, planning, variance, and reporting workflows with AI, with controls that validate outputs and protect confidential data.
  • Oversee sales compensation administration so incentive plans align with company goals and are executed accurately.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive FP&A or Strategic Finance leadership in high-growth SaaS, including building and scaling multi-level teams.
  • Analytical storyteller: ability to turn complex financials into a clear narrative for executives, boards, and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Trusted influencer: ability to build relationships, provide candid input, and challenge senior leaders with evidence.
  • Talent builder: experience developing leaders and building high-performing teams.
  • Sound judgment in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with a bias for continuous improvement.
  • Strong command of enterprise planning systems, BI/visualization tools, and AI-enabled workflows with emphasis on verification and control.
