About the role

Director-level engineering leader responsible for building the next generation autonomous marketing agent platform that plans, executes, and optimizes marketing across channels, APIs, and MCP, applying AI and real-time behavioral insights at massive scale.

Responsibilities

  • 3+ years managing engineers, 8+ years engineering
  • Has shipped agentic or LLM-backed systems and understands production tradeoffs of tool use, orchestration, and retrieval
  • Understand interface between product engineering, ML, and data science; partner with models without owning them
  • Strong on distributed, data-heavy systems: streaming, event-driven, cost-aware inference
  • Writes code, hires well, provides direct feedback, maintains high performance standards, builds accountability without drama
  • Build engineering systems enabling autonomous marketing agent, scale and reliability, across brands and channels, via APIs and MCP to operate across broader marketing stack

Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing engineers
  • 8+ years engineering experience
  • Experience shipping agentic or LLM-backed systems
  • Strong background in distributed, data-heavy systems (streaming, event-driven, cost-aware inference)
  • Ability to partner with ML/data science and understand model requirements from platform side
  • Proven leadership in hiring, feedback, and accountability
  • Hands-on coding experience preferred
