About the role

We’re looking for a designer with exceptional visual craft and AI skills to turn ideas into working experiences. The role focuses on core Envato product work, exploring how AI can enhance creative tools and asset workflows, and delivering tangible, user-facing experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Bring different approaches, make them interactive and try them with the team and customers. Then help develop promising ones into experiences people can use.
  • Prototype how a filmmaker saves a character reference and uses it across different shots. Explore how arranging and playing video clips could help someone see a story coming together. Use motion, imagery and interaction to make an AI capability easier to understand and more enjoyable to use.
  • Work alongside experienced designers and engineers, with support on framing problems, testing ideas and getting work into the product. Own real work with feedback to help you develop it and contribute ideas the team hasn’t yet thought of.
  • Show us what you’re making by sharing a project that demonstrates AI usage and visual craft (finished product, prototype, website or interactive tool). Include a note about your contribution and tools used.

Qualifications

  • Strong eye for visual craft (typography, composition, hierarchy, motion and interaction)
  • Experience or interest in using AI to explore and build product experiences
  • Able to share unfinished work, test ideas in the wild, and adapt based on learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers and engineers; not required to independently lead a whole product area from day one
  • Portfolio or examples showcasing AI-enabled work and visual craft
