About the role

Security Consultant role within Google Cloud Mandiant Consulting Go-to-Market team for Australia and New Zealand, delivering end-to-end cyber security consulting engagements for AU/NZ market and coordinating with Google Cloud Security Specialist Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Govern the end-to-end execution of medium-to-large cyber security consulting engagements, ensuring they are delivered on time and within the agreed scope.
  • Drive end-to-end program management from planning/scoping, milestone, kickoff materials, governance frameworks, tracking end-to-end budgets and issue management through delivery.
  • Build relationships and exert tactful influence in a complex organization with multiple cross-functional stakeholders. Identify work/process inefficiencies and drive repeatable solutions to reduce or eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Plan and execute work in a way that builds trust across teams, connecting clients and internal teams, and making sure inter dependencies are understood and planned for. Identify and integrate multiple adjacent or interrelated client/stakeholder project timelines, goals, and objectives.
  • Partner with technical leads, coordinate comprehensive, high-quality technical, operational and executive reports that clearly outline security gaps and provide practical remediation roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a cross-functional project/program management, consulting or a client-facing role.
