About the role

Product Deployment Engineer role in gTech Ads focusing on technical deployment, advisory support, and collaboration with Sales, Engagement Managers, and cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions for Google Ads products in the Southeast Asia region (English, Bahasa or Thai).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Engagement Managers to understand customer marketing objectives, infrastructure and first-party data management strategy, and pain points.
  • Lead deep-dive technical assessment/consultation sessions to uncover opportunities where bespoke solutions are required, ensuring solutions respect industry-specific data constraints and business cycles.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs, considering scalability, reusability, and best practices as well as a clear path to media activation.
  • Provide technical-product oversight during the implementation phase, ensuring the engineering build remains aligned with the original customer strategy, while deferring base code-level and system-building decisions to the Engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional gTech teams (e.g., Engineering teams, Solution Experts, Measurement Experts) to orchestrate bundled service delivery and ensure seamless customer outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
  • Experience in building proof-of-concepts using web/scripting technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python, etc.) and SQL databases.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Thai or Bahasa Indonesia fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
