About the role
Software Engineering Manager responsible for leading backend infrastructure powering Remix features in YouTube Shorts Creation, including alignment across teams, technical leadership, and delivery of large-scale solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on Shorts Creation projects focused on Remix features and the creation funnel.
- Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers.
- Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

- US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
