About the role
Technical Program Manager role focused on leading large, multi-disciplinary projects within Google's Geo team, driving automation, data pipelines, and operational efficiencies to power Google Maps and related platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage large technical projects from concept to launch, develop and coordinate realistic project estimates, plans, or metrics; work and communicate effectively with engineering, product management, QA, operations and other stakeholders.
- Understand Google Geo products, internal tools, processes and data schema and leverage those to push automation and increase work efficiency and automation.
- Develop technical solutions that help automate and improve operational efficiencies.
- Leverage technical acumen and developer skills to analyze trends in data, develop data pipeline improvements and elegant technical solutions.
- Build scalable and intelligent technical and operational solutions to produce large volumes of high quality data that powers Google Maps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in program management.
