Google Test Engineer role focused on designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, integrating testing early in development, and driving CI/CD improvements to boost velocity and product reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and comprehensive test suites for software features.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to integrate testing early in the development lifecycle and identify potential defects.
- Analyze complex software systems to build comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in our CI/CD pipelines and testing infrastructure to boost engineering velocity and product reliability.
- Investigate test failures, diagnose root causes, and advocate for quality and engineering best practices across the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
- Experience in a programming language such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience working with standard testing tools, automation platforms, and debugging systems.
