About the role

Mid-level role providing operational support for Google Cloud networking infrastructure, resolving customer reachability and performance issues, automating processes, and improving documentation and training within a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers and peers.
  • Help customers resolve issues with network services and troubleshoot connectivity and performance.
  • Validate and test customer configurations in an interoperability lab environment.
  • Write workflow automation to improve the customer experience.
  • Lead improvements in documentation, playbooks, and training for support organizations and Network Operations Centers (NOCs).
  • Drive process improvements and automate turn-up and service delivery.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience with network engineering.

Nice to have:Scripting (e.g., Python)
