About the role

Staff Glasses Technical Program Manager (TPM) leading strategic Display Glasses XR programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver XR hardware/software products from concept to launch in Google's XR initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop Display Glasses strategy. Define, lead, and own the execution of strategic XR programs from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision and business objectives.
  • Define and drive program schedules, identify risks, manage dependencies, track metrics and communicate status to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships, build alliances, and advocate for program needs across different organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, UX Design, Research, and Operations to deliver high-quality XR products and services.
  • Own triage on incoming challenges for your focus areas. Define, evaluate and execute solutions to complex technical problems that require deep cross-organization collaboration to unblock teams and gain program velocity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with program management.
  • Experience delivering software and hardware projects.
  • Experience delivering consumer electronics products from concept to production.
