About the role

Product Counsel in Google Cloud advises on a constantly-evolving portfolio of enterprise products, focusing on AI/Generative AI (GAI) products, regulatory and compliance matters, and advising on high-value AI transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Advise product leadership on a constantly-evolving portfolio of enterprise level AI/Generative AI products.
  • Resolve AI policy/privacy/security/IP/regulatory issues.
  • Support commercial legal and sales teams on high-value AI transactions.

Qualifications

  • JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or authorized to practice law in the state of location.
  • 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
  • Experience advising clients on a variety of product compliance issues in a rapidly evolving environment.
