About the role

Senior Security Software Engineer focusing on operating system and hardware security features within Google's AI infrastructure, with responsibilities in security design, code review, and collaboration with internal security teams and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal Security teams, as well as partner and customer teams.
  • Develop operating system and hardware security features for our product.
  • Design security solutions within the scope of the broader area.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in C++, C, or Python.
  • 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
  • 2 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
