About the role

Strategic Partnerships Development Manager for Gemini Data focusing on strategic sourcing of third-party data partnerships to power DeepMind's foundational AI models in APAC.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners across APAC, with a focus on coding and agentic domains. Build and manage a robust APAC pipeline aligned with DeepMind (DM) strategic priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end negotiation of multiple partnership agreements, navigating commercial terms, usage rights, data specifications, and legal/ethical compliance considerations. Drive deals through internal review processes with precision and speed.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure seamless manage execution.
  • Adhere to and actively contribute to refining the team's operational processes, ensuring accurate pipeline management (e.g., Salesforce), and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or operations strategy in the technology sector.
  • Experience executing and managing partnerships and negotiating agreements with partners across the APAC region.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
