About the role

Software engineer role focused on evolving Search Ads using AI, collaborating with Google Research and DeepMind, and driving end-to-end projects from concept to deployment in the Ads Targeting team.

Responsibilities

  • Own projects end-to-end from initial idea to design, analysis, and implementation.
  • Perform model training, evaluation, and deployment to solve business-critical problems, including exploration of new model architectures and data augmentation.
  • Understand production systems, visualize, monitor, and optimize performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and research in the field, collaborating with Google Research and Deep Mind.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in C++ and Python.
  • 3 years of experience with one or more of: deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative AI, or another ML specialization.
  • 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
