About the role

Mission Manager within Mandiant's National Security team, embedded with Canadian national security and defence clients to build secure, resilient operations and lead a forward-deployed team delivering integrated cyber defence, threat intelligence, security development, AI-augmented detection and response, and continuous validation testing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of forward-deployed developers and advisors to deliver transformative cyber defence solutions and operations.
  • Evaluate and advise on the secure deployment of modern workloads, specifically cloud-native ecosystems and secure integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms and pipelines.
  • Identify challenges in customer cyber defence capabilities and formulate strategies for improvement, plan implementation of improvements, and execute/oversee plans to completion.
  • Develop relationships and establish strong collaborative partnerships with executive stakeholders and key authorities to achieve project and long term strategic objectives.
  • Develop and present comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in advising on, leading, and developing cybersecurity solutions across multiple security domains (security operations, security development, cloud security, threat intelligence, incident response, threat hunting, or similar).
  • Experience applying advanced enterprise cybersecurity controls, threat intelligence, cloud security controls, network development concepts, and identity management frameworks.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Personnel Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
