About the role

Senior strategic events leader responsável for end-to-end planning and execution of Abnormal's owned, executive, internal, and select third-party events, translating company strategy into high-impact experiences that drive pipeline and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of key strategic first-party and third-party events—from strategy and budget through delivery, measurement, and post-event analysis.
  • Own all components of owned events: venue and vendor selection, production, registration and attendee journey, hospitality, staffing, technology, and on-site operations — partnering with Brand Creative, Content, and Comms on creative, branding, and agenda.
  • Build run-of-show, project plan, timeline, and contingency plan; run the room.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Strategic Alliances, Campaigns, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, and others to ensure events are engineered for pipeline and customer engagement.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, POs, and vendor deliverables with rigor; track spend and ROI.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks, templates, and standards to scale the portfolio without compromising quality.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for programs; maintain stakeholder trust.
  • Anticipate risk, escalate early, and keep programs on track amid shifting priorities.
  • Design and deliver premium executive programs (advisory boards, curated hospitality, executive tracks).
  • Bring hospitality-grade instincts to B2B environments; ensure touchpoints are intentional, frictionless, and elevated.
  • Coordinate executive and VIP participation end-to-end — briefing materials, prep, on-site handling, follow-through.
  • Represent Abnormal to senior customer executives with professionalism and premium service mindset.
  • Co-own planning and delivery of largest internal events (Sales Kickoff and President’s Club) with cross-functional partners.
  • Define objectives, build agendas, and manage production, venue, travel, and on-site operations for internal events.
  • Maintain high standards for internal experiences to reflect company culture.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in strategic events, executive programs, or field marketing, including owning executive-level programs (Ideally in B2B technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or similar).
  • Proven ownership of complex, high-visibility owned events and executive programs from strategy through execution and analysis.
  • Premium experience mindset with strong attention to detail and operational excellence.
  • Strong program management skills: organized, proactive, structured, deadline-driven, and able to drive cross-functional work to outcomes.
  • Experience delivering large internal events such as Sales Kickoff, sales incentive trips, or company offsites.
  • Budget, vendor, agency, and contract management across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Exceptional communication skills (briefing docs, executive-facing comms) with minimal need for cleanup.
  • Executive maturity and credibility in rooms with senior leaders (internal or customer-side).
  • Composure under pressure; long-range planning and quick on-site problem solving.
  • Commercially minded; understands events’ impact on brand, relationships, and pipeline.
  • Experience leveraging AI to improve workflows and decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel roughly 25%, primarily in North America.
  • Cybersecurity experience is a plus, not required.
