About the role

Join Amazon’s mission to become Earth’s safest place to work. We’re seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead the Global WHS Program implementation, combining hands-on safety management with strategic initiatives to protect associates and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety compliance efforts, conduct site audits, and analyze incident trends to target improvements.
  • Manage our first aid program and emergency response capabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze safety data to implement practical solutions.
  • Build relationships with Operations leadership to integrate safety into business processes.
  • Lead safety initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and use data analytics to prevent incidents.
  • Oversee recordkeeping, WHS training programs, and workplace organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience
