About the role

SDE II role focusing on end-to-end ownership of systems used by 2+ million sellers to understand, predict, and act on their economics. Work spans from fee calculation to ML-based item classification and seller-facing AI surfaces, with AI-native engineering practices and evolving AI/verification approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software solutions for major features and improvements, balancing technical constraints with customer needs while ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
