About the role

IT Support Associate II providing on-site and regional IT support for Amazon Operations facilities, resolving technical problems across multiple disciplines, training new hires, and supporting customers in local and remote buildings within a defined geographic area.

Responsibilities

  • Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
  • Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
  • Assisting in training new hires.
  • Continuous learning of new technologies.
  • Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
  • Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
  • Flexibility with schedule, shift rotation between days & nights.

Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
  • 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
