About the role

Amazon Selection and Catalog Systems (ASCS) builds and operates the world's largest e-commerce product catalog. The Offers Platform team within ASCS provides core product information and critical purchasing data, serving billions of records and responding to internal clients and customer interfaces with high performance at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain software services for the Offers Platform within ASCS
  • Design and implement distributed systems and web services
  • Own software services from development through operations to meet performance and reliability goals
  • Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-availability solutions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
