About the role

Software Development Engineer focusing on healthcare AI services within AWS Health care AI organization. Build new v1 services and contribute to existing services like HealthLake Comprehend Medical and HealthScribe. Responsibilities include designing scalable software, delivering high-quality code, collaborating with product managers, applied scientists, and other engineers, and ensuring operational excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable efficient software systems for healthcare AI services
  • Write high-quality well-tested code for cloud-based healthcare applications
  • Collaborate with product managers applied scientists and other engineers to implement product features
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Help maintain operational excellence and compliance with industry standards
  • Work on data processing analytics and machine learning systems for healthcare applications
  • Contribute to technical discussions and help drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
