About the role

Delivery Station Customer Service Associate supporting in-station real-time, hands-on customer support to help ensure packages are delivered on time and connect customers with experts for accurate package information.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers directly in-person, by phone, and by email
  • Empathizing with and prioritizing customer needs
  • Upholding company values and respecting every customer
  • Resolving issues and setting appropriate expectations with customers
  • Understanding and responding to customer issues
  • Writing grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses
  • Approaching problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate customer outcome
  • Making quick and effective decisions on behalf of the customer
  • Carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 49 pounds
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
  • Standing and walking during shifts up to 12 hours
  • Working in a variable/noise environment with hearing protection provided
  • Working in an environment with varying outside temperatures
  • Based at a last-mile delivery warehouse and coordinating with warehouse, delivery partners, and customers as issues arise
  • Developing logistical and customer service expertise related to Amazon’s supply chain and local delivery connections

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience prioritizing and managing time in dynamic environments
  • Experience with computer and web-based tools

Skills

Required:Customer serviceCommunication (written and verbal)
