About the role

Software Development Engineer on the Alexa Smart Home Cameras team, delivering backend services powering camera-related experiences across Echo, FireTV, Alexa App, and integrations with 1P/3P partners, with opportunities to lead technically while contributing as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical aspects of core Cameras backend services that power customer experiences on Echo, FireTV devices, Alexa App and related platforms.
  • Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and bring innovative products and features to market.
  • Be responsive and flexible in an open, collaborative peer environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
