About the role

Join Amazon’s mission to become Earth’s safest place to work. Lead a comprehensive Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) program, partner with Operations leadership, and drive data-driven safety improvements across the site. Build and develop a high-performing WHS team and foster a culture of continuous improvement while integrating safety into daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Global WHS Program at the site
  • Partner with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and transform safety data into actionable strategies
  • Build and develop a high-performing WHS team
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and leverage technology/data analytics for preventive safety measures
  • Measure performance against WHS policies, analyze metrics, and conduct site audits to address non-compliance
  • Oversee recordkeeping, workplace organization, and WHS training programs
  • Serve as the site's safety facilitator and trusted advisor to balance safety with operational demands
  • Ensure emergency response readiness and effective care delivery in emergencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
