About the role

HR Business Partner providing HR generalist support to a large population of hourly employees and business leaders within AMXL, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and operational excellence. Combines strategic and tactical responsibilities, leveraging data analytics and HR metrics to drive business impact. Onsite role at an Amazon facility.

Responsibilities

  • Improve site effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns, addressing root causes, and making high-judgment decisions that align with policy intent while minimizing risk.
  • Use data analytics to identify emerging trends, predict future challenges, and implement proactive solutions at the site level.
  • Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs. Maintain floor presence to gather insights and drive targeted improvements with leaders.
  • Coach Business Leaders on effective people management practices, including performance feedback, team development, and complex employee relations matters.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement decisions.
  • Drive adoption of HR technology solutions, AI, and self-service tools while maintaining high-touch service delivery in critical moments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 2+ years of human resources or equivalent experience (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing)
  • Experience supporting or leading employee-focused processes including onboarding, benefits, investigations, training or talent management
