About the role

Senior proposal writer for AWS WWPS focusing on RFx responses, whitepapers, and related inquiries for U.S. Intelligence and Defense customers. Responsible for content development, collaboration with SMEs, library maintenance, and ensuring persuasive, compliant, customer-focused narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to identify and write content for RFx responses
  • Craft compelling proposal narratives that synthesize existing content and SME inputs, aligned with strategic objectives
  • Own proposal content development for distinct RFx sections, from ideation to final review
  • Independently gather, organize, and synthesize information from diverse AWS stakeholders (sales, engineering, solutions architecture, and others)
  • Contribute to proposal solutioning and strategy development sessions, asking clarifying questions
  • Curate, grow, and update the team library of approved content to maximize reuse
  • Review final proposal documents for editing and content completeness
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to proposal writing processes
  • Create documents that meet compliance requirements, align with sales objectives, and guide government customers to adopt AWS Cloud
  • Demonstrate ability to convey complex ideas in customer-focused narratives
  • Collaborate across levels of AWS to meet tight, customer-driven timelines

Qualifications

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience in stakeholder management across varied levels of organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
