About the role

Solutions Architect role focused on helping U.S. Department of Defense organizations leverage AWS cloud computing solutions, shaping implementations, architectures, and security for defense customers within AWS World Wide Public Sector.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects; define implementation architectures; provide inputs to RFI/RFP responses; develop deep expertise in AWS technologies; serve as a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
  • Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to educate and design cloud computing architectures for Defense Department customers.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 3+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
