About the role

Area Manager at Amazon UK Services Ltd. responsible for leading a site-wide area to ensure safe, efficient operations with high quality and productivity. Includes driving safety culture, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to standardize shift practices and meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

  • Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
  • Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level
  • Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility
  • Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
  • Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices

Qualifications

  • Experience in people management
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
  • Advanced degree, or Bachelor's degree
