About the role

Senior Engagement Manager within AWS Professional Services responsible for leading end-to-end, large-scale cloud engagements across strategic industries, aligning technology delivery with business outcomes and managing multi-stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large, multi-workstream cloud engagements by creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans, defining quality standards, and aligning AWS, customer, and partner resources to achieve agreed-upon business outcomes.
  • Build and manage strategic customer relationships across technical and executive stakeholders, proactively identifying risks, clearing blockers, and driving timely decisions to keep programs on track — including redirecting distressed engagements toward successful delivery.
  • Facilitate release planning, workshops, and discovery sessions using multiple delivery and cloud frameworks (such as Agile, Waterfall, Well-Architected Framework, and Cloud Adoption Framework) to translate customer strategy into executable roadmaps.
  • Lead complex business and technical discussions, harmonize conflicting perspectives, and guide customers to define and expand on their cloud adoption strategy while identifying opportunities to maximize engagement value through scope and financial negotiations.
  • Establish reusable delivery mechanisms, best practices, and documentation standards that improve quality and efficiency across engagements, and mentor fellow engagement managers to raise the overall team capability.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale experience
  • 7+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements experience
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field
  • Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Experience in leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale
  • Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements
