About the role
Senior Instock Manager responsible for building and leading the end-to-end instock strategy for a new Sydney-based team, owning inventory strategy across multiple product categories, and partnering with cross-functional teams to design and implement forecasting, buying, placement, and inventory health tools while managing financial guardrails.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end instock strategy across multiple product categories, designing buying approaches and product-flow processes that deliver high availability and quality while meeting financial targets.
- Partner with Category, Vendor Management, Operations, Finance, Product, and Technology teams to identify root causes, influence priorities, and deliver cross-functional solutions that improve customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and build internal tools for forecasting, buying, placement, and inventory health, translating business requirements into scalable, long-term solutions.
- Analyse inventory trends and demand signals to optimise stock levels, reduce waste, and improve order-fulfilment efficiency across the network.
- Coach and develop team members, setting clear goals and building an inclusive culture that supports continuous learning and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management
