About the role

Finance Manager to own end-to-end finance support for AWS GenAI services, including CapEx management and planning, drive strategic GenAI feature launches and process improvements, and partner with multiple stakeholders across AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in financial planning; build complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance
  • Owning the GenAI services end to end, and influence business decisions that drive revenue and/or capital expenditures
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.
  • Partner with finance teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
  • 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
