About the role

HR Business Partner providing HR generalist support to hourly employees and business leaders in Sub-Same Day Fulfillment Centers, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and operational excellence with data-driven insights and potential team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Improve site effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns and making high-judgment decisions that align with policy while maintaining compliance.
  • Use data analytics to identify emerging trends, predict future challenges, and implement proactive solutions at the site level.
  • Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs; maintain floor presence to gather insights and drive improvements with leaders.
  • Coach Business Leaders on people management, performance feedback, team development, and complex employee relations; support inclusive, high-performing teams.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement decisions.
  • Drive adoption of HR technology solutions, AI, and self-service tools while preserving high-touch service in critical moments.
  • Lead or contribute to projects that enhance the employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 2+ years of human resources or equivalent experience (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing)
  • Experience supporting or leading employee-focused processes including onboarding, benefits, investigations, training or talent management
