About the role

Entry-level front-line leader in Amazon Operations responsible for leading and developing a team of Amazon Associates in a sort center, focusing on safety, quality, attendance, performance, and customer experience while driving process improvements and Lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 30-80 hourly associates in a sort center environment
  • Motivate, mentor, and coach team members
  • Ensure associates have tools and support to succeed during shifts
  • Engage with team to maintain safety, quality, attendance, performance and engagement
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools to delight customers
  • Be available to work overtime during peak season and as needed year-round
  • Adapt to flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Own work and team, embody Amazon Leadership Principles
  • Get Amazon customers their orders by training and supporting your team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of team leadership experience
