About the role

AWS Industries Solutions Architect within Strategic Accounts, partnering with key customers to design scalable cloud architectures using AWS services, driving technical leadership, pre-sales engagement, and business value realization across industry-specific use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide architectural and technical leadership to a portfolio of customers leveraging AWS services at scale.
  • Be the domain expert guiding architectural design decisions and communicate business value of the AWS platform.
  • Mentor peers and customers, evangelize best practices in infrastructure, engineering, and application design.
  • Drive revenue growth within a specific customer, act as trusted customer advocate, help migrate workloads to the cloud, shape and execute AWS adoption strategies.
  • Interact with cross-functional AWS teams (services, marketing, professional services) and present to executive management.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture
  • 10+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
