About the role

Security Project Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery, coordination of partners, and field deployments of CCTV installations for councils in the UK. Reports to Head of Operations. Hybrid role based in London with UK-wide field mobility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end rollout of installations across council sites from kick-off to handover.
  • Oversee configuration and commissioning of camera units to meet council requirements.
  • Train and certify partners on installation and maintenance, ensuring quality and uptime standards.
  • Act as interface between installation partners and HQ, coordinating schedules, priorities and escalations.
  • Serve as named technical point of contact for councils, triaging and resolving issues within SLAs.
  • Challenge orientation choices and ensure partners meet Vizzia’s standards for execution and delivery-time.
  • Conduct site surveys to validate camera types and installation locations; produce execution packs for installers (HQ and local partners).
  • Coordinate spares and replacements with HQ to minimise downtime.
  • Produce regular reports and progress updates for management.
  • Manage stock levels and maintain accurate records to keep projects on track.
  • Build strong working relationships with HQ, external partners and council clients.
  • Mobility: deployments across the UK with regular regional travel.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience in technical delivery or field operations of camera and CCTV systems, ideally in council/public sector or similar complex environments.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, outdoor installations, and pole/camera fixings (bonus).
  • Track record of deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and communicating effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
  • Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Full working proficiency in English.
  • UK driving licence.
